Library Overview

Summary

The Library contains all educational documents and explainer videos available in Informed Medical. You can browse by category, view or print documents, access Spanish versions, upload facility-specific materials, and send education directly to residents and responsible parties.

Main Points

Accessing the Library

From the left navigation:

1. Click the Library dropdown.

2. Select one of the available tabs:

   • All

   • Dx and Tx

   • General Library

   • Facility Library

   • Explainer Videos

   • Essential Docs

Library Tabs Explained

All

The All tab includes:

• Dx and Tx Library documents

• General Library documents

• Explainer Videos

This is the complete collection of educational materials.

Dx and Tx

The Dx and Tx section covers diagnosis and treatment-specific topics.

For example, a diabetes document may include:

• What the condition is

• Who is at risk

• Types of the condition

• Associated risks

• Important disclosures

• Cited and sourced information

General Library

The General Library includes broader topics such as:

• Fall risk

• Elopement

• General safety concerns

• Other common skilled nursing topics

These documents are not diagnosis specific.

Facility Library

The Facility Library contains documents uploaded specifically by your facility.

You can add documents that are unique to your organization.

Explainer Videos

The Explainer Videos section includes animated educational videos.

These videos:

• Explain risks and conditions clearly

• Increase engagement

• Enhance understanding

• Work well when included in reports

Actions Available in the Library

When viewing a document, you can:

• Print the document

• Download the document

• Send the document

• View the document in Spanish

From the main Library screen, you can also:

• Upload documents to your Facility Library

• Send selected documents

• View available Spanish versions

Sending Documents from the Library

To send documents:

1. Select the documents you want.

2. Click the option to send.

3. Choose the resident.

4. Complete the Send Education workflow.

This ensures the education is tracked and documented.
