ISO Automatic Reports – What Are They?
ISO Automatic Reports are system-generated education reports that are triggered by resident data synced from PointClickCare. These reports run automatically based on diagnoses, treatments, and assessment activity.
They are designed to ensure consistent risk disclosure and documentation without requiring manual staff action.
How ISO Automatic Reports Work
Informed Medical uses webhooks to immediately sync:
-
Resident diagnoses
-
Treatments
-
Contact information
-
Discharge status
When updates are made in PointClickCare, they sync automatically into Informed Medical in real time. If a new diagnosis or treatment is added, the system can generate the appropriate ISO report based on that change.
This allows education to be delivered quickly and consistently when clinical information changes.
Quarterly ISO Reports
In addition to real-time syncing, ISO reports also run on a quarterly basis.
Each night at midnight, the system checks for:
-
New assessments
-
Assessment updates
-
Significant changes
If an assessment reflects a change that requires updated education or disclosure, the appropriate ISO report will be generated.
This ensures that ongoing risk disclosure continues throughout the resident’s stay, not just at admission.
What ISO Reports Include
ISO reports typically include:
-
Diagnosis-related education
-
Treatment-related education
-
Relevant risk disclosures
-
Facility-selected Essential Documents, when applicable
These reports are personalized to the resident based on their clinical data.
Documentation
When an ISO report is sent, engagement is tracked, including:
-
Delivery
-
Opens
-
Downloads
-
Signatures
Confirmation activity is timestamped and uploaded back into PointClickCare as proof of communication and disclosure.
Why ISO Automatic Reports Matter
ISO Automatic Reports provide structured, ongoing risk disclosure without requiring manual follow up for every clinical update.
They support consistent education delivery, engagement tracking, and defensible documentation.
