How To: Ways to Send Education

Learn the different ways to send patient education and documentation in Informed Medical.

Informed Medical provides multiple ways to send education and documentation to residents and their contacts. You can send materials from the header, Dashboard, Patients tab, Contacts tab, or directly from the Library.


Main Points

Send from the Header

The fastest way to send documentation:

  1. Click the plus icon in the top header.

  2. Select the option to send documents.

This allows you to quickly start the sending process from anywhere in the platform.


Send from the Dashboard

From the Dashboard:

  1. Locate the Quick Actions section.

  2. Click Start under patient documentation.

This method is helpful when working from your main overview screen.


Send from the Patients Tab

There are several options within the Patients tab.

Send to One or Multiple Residents

  1. Select one or multiple residents.

  2. Send reports or custom reports to the selected group.

This is useful for bulk sending.

Send from the Three Dots Menu

  1. Click the three dots next to a resident.

  2. Select the option to send documents.

Send from Within a Patient Profile

  1. Open a resident’s profile.

  2. Use the option to send documentation directly from their chart.

Send to a Specific Contact

Within a patient profile:

  • Locate the contact.

  • Choose to send documentation directly to that individual.


Send from the Contacts Tab

From the Contacts tab, you can:

  • Click the three dots next to a contact and send documentation.

  • Open a contact profile and send documents directly from there.

This is helpful when you are focused on a specific responsible party.


Send from the Library

You can also send documents directly from the Library.

From the Library Overview

  1. Navigate to the Library.

  2. Click the option in the top right corner to send documents.

From Within a Specific Document

If you are viewing a document:

  1. Open the document.

  2. Print or download if needed.

  3. Use the option to send the document as part of an educational report.

This ensures the document is tracked and documented when delivered.
