How To: Adjust Automatic Reports

Learn how to configure Baseline, General, and Quarterly report automation in Informed Medical.

Summary

Automatic report settings allow you to control when reports are sent, what content is included, and which contact titles receive them. You can manage Baseline, General, and Quarterly reports from the Settings area.

Accessing Report Settings

  1. Log in to Informed Medical.

  2. Click the top right corner menu.

  3. Select Settings.

From here, you can manage email alerts and automatic report configurations.


Baseline vs General Reports

Baseline Reports

Baseline reports include:

  • Diagnoses

  • Treatments

  • Education and documentation pulled from PointClickCare

  • Articles related to resident diagnoses

These reports contain comprehensive information.

General Reports

General reports include:

  • Only documents marked as Essential

They do not include diagnosis-based education unless marked essential.


Configuring Baseline and General Reports

You can toggle on or off:

  • Baseline reports

  • General reports

Click Edit to adjust settings for each report type.

Within each report type, you can configure:

  • When reports are sent after admission

  • A resend buffer, if needed

  • The time of day reports are delivered

  • Which contact titles will receive the report

After making changes, click Save.


Configuring Quarterly Reports

Quarterly reports function similarly to Baseline reports and include all documents.

To adjust Quarterly settings:

  1. Click Edit under ISO Quarterly Reports.

  2. Select when reports should be triggered, such as:

    • Care conferences

    • Significant changes

  3. Set a resend buffer if needed.

  4. Choose the delivery time frame.

  5. Select the contact titles that should receive the report.

  6. Click Save.


Additional Report Settings

At the bottom of the Settings page, you can choose to:

  • Include a Table of Contents in reports

  • Include a Summary section

  • Adjust additional report settings as needed

These options allow you to customize the report format and presentation.
